Site Visit
The DR Systems Project Manager works with you to plan and prepare your site for installation. By visiting your site, the Project Manager can review with you the technical requirements, to ensure that your facility is ready for the RIS/PACS installation on time. This is done from both hardware preparation and information systems integration prospective. Tasks include planning any facility construction or improvements, electrical or networking, to preparing patient, exam code and other data requirements. All this is to ensure the smoothest possible transition into your new Unity RIS/PACS.
The site visit agenda includes the following:
- Review system requirements
- Receive staff lists
- Receive exam codes
- Determine DICOM modalities to support
- Define the new filmless workflow environment for your site
- Review technical and network requirements
- Review your current network layout and configuration
- Review shipping and receiving conditions
- Walk through your site to identify the physical layout
