Communicator Web Server

The Communicator™ is a Web server that publishes imaging exams for viewing via the Internet, or private intranet, using a standard web browser or the Web Ambassador™ clinical viewing application. Authorized referring physicians and reading physicians can log onto the Communicator from a remote site, enter a confidential user name and password, and then access images, audio, and reports.

The Multiprocessor Communicator is for faster publishing of exams at high volume facilities. The Multiprocessor Communicator performs the same system functionality as the standard Communicator, the only difference being higher performance and configuration. Optimized for imaging facilities with high annual exam volumes of 250,000 per year or more, the Multiprocessor Communicator can be configured to harvest to local server drives or to a SAN.
