Communicator Web Server

The Communicator™ is a Web server that publishes imaging exams for viewing via the Internet, or private intranet, using a standard web browser or the Web Ambassador™ clinical viewing application. Authorized referring physicians and reading physicians can log into the Communicator from a remote site, enter a confidential user name and password, and then access images, audio, and reports. Additionally, the Communicator coordinates and supports exam access from external systems.

As an option, Communicators can be clustered for enhanced availability.

A Distributed Communicator configuration allows multiple, remote imaging centers to share a single publication Web site.
