Patient Tracking

Patient Tracking enables administrators to track the patient through the department by monitoring the patient from arrival to the time the procedure is completed. Patient Tracking decreases patient wait times and increases patient satisfaction by showing where the patient is in the workflow process, including patient status, exam status, and alerts for patient delays.

For patients with prior exams on film, DR Systems provides Film Tracking. The Film Tracking migration tool allows the medical imaging service provider to upload external film data to the DR Systems PACS and manage the data solely with Film Tracking.

As patients check in and check out internal or external films, the Film Tracking module records and reports the transaction.
