DR Systems Named “Best in KLAS” Among All PACS Vendors for 2007
Company Also Top-Ranked Community Hospital PACS Vendor
SAN DIEGO – KLAS® has recognized DR Systems as the leading PACS vendor in this year’s Top 20: 2007 Best in KLAS report for the second year in a row. The company was also the top-ranked vendor, regardless of product, in the Community Clinical Ancillary Software category, as well as being the top-rated PACS vendor in that category. The category encompasses vendors serving community hospitals, or hospitals with 200 beds or less.
DR Systems was rated ahead of all other PACS providers including Philips, Dynamic Imaging, McKesson, Fuji, GE Medical Systems, Siemens, Agfa, and Amicas.

Healthcare executives, managers, and clinicians representing more than 4,500 hospitals and 2,500 clinics contributed feedback for the KLAS report.
DR Systems also led in several sub-categories for PACS vendors, including “Implementation within Budget” and “Works as Promoted.” The company ranked first in PACS performance indicators, with an average score of 7.79 on a scale of 1-9. It led in business indicators, as well, with 93% “yes” answers to the yes/no questions in this section. In the Community Clinical Ancillary Software category, it led in performance indicators with an average score of 8.14 and tied for the lead in business indicators with a 93% score.
