DR Systems Awarded Six New PACS Contracts Worth Nearly $4 Million
SAN DIEGO - September 14, 2006 DR Systems today announced six new RIS/PACS contracts totaling nearly $4 million. The facilities awarding the contracts were:- Washington Hospital Healthcare System (Fremont, Calif.)
- Halifax Hospital Port-Orange (Port Orange, Fla.)
- Radiology Associates of Tallahassee (Tallahassee, Fla.)
- Pocatello Radiology (Pocatello, Idaho)
- Fidelis Radiology (Tulsa, Okla.)
- Portneuf Imaging Center (Pocatello, Idaho)
The largest contracts included Washington Hospital Healthcare System ($1,393,650), Halifax Hospital Port-Orange ($964,000), and Radiology Associates of Tallahassee ($804,300).
DR Systems was recently named the leading PACS vendor by KLAS, topping all other PACS providers including McKesson, GE Medical Systems, Siemens, Philips, and Amicas. DR Systems scored at or near the top in virtually all categories. Respondents rated the company especially highly for "implementation within budget."
KLAS is a prominent research and consulting firm that specializes in monitoring and reporting the performance of healthcare information technology vendors, including PACS companies.
