User Group Meeting

Overview
The 2009 DR Systems Annual User Group Meeting will take place Wednesday, September 9th through Friday, September 11th at the Catamaran Resort Hotel in San Diego, CA. This comprehensive 3-day program will provide you with the opportunity to engage in interactive user sessions, participate in hands-on training, and network with fellow users and DR Systems’ management team, developers, customer support and sales staff. Participating in a user group meeting is a great way to meet people like you, who use DR System’s software and want to share information, data, software tips and project experience.
The Meeting
The 2009 user group meeting will begin on Wednesday morning, September 9th and conclude on Friday afternoon, September 11th. The 3-day program will consist of both general and break out sessions, a hands-on-lab with several workstations and DR Systems Application Specialists’ to assist with questions, as well as the ever popular exhibits room which is the host to our wonderful sponsors.
The hands on lab is open throughout the conference and staffed with several DR Systems applications specialists to navigate through the latest features and functions as well as to assist with any questions you may have about your current system. This will provide you the opportunity to get hands on with the product, view the latest software, and inquire about any application topics you may have.
Each year we work with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) to submit agenda sessions for approval, allowing us to offer CE credits for those in attendance at specific sessions throughout the meeting.
We will be expanding the length of the popular user caucus in 2009. The user caucus is a closed session to only clients, in which you are allowed to collaborate and complete a list of your top 5 items to request from DR Systems. This session plays a pivotal role in future development of our product and feature offerings.
Special Event
Each year, DR Systems hosts an evening client event. On Thursday evening join us aboard the California Princess, a 115 foot luxury yacht, for a sunset dinner cruise on the famous San Diego Harbor! Upon boarding, grab a cocktail and head up to 1,600 square foot observation deck for hors d'oeuvres and breathtaking views of the San Diego coastline. The evening will allow you to mingle with fellow attendees and staff in a more relaxed environment. You do not want to miss this memorable event! Transportation
All meeting sessions are held within the Catamaran meeting space and the hotel is located in the heart of Mission Beach and Pacific Beach, within walking distances of numerous shops, restaurants, bars and across the street from the Pacific Ocean. You are more than welcome to rent a vehicle, but most of our guests find that they rarely if ever step foot behind the wheel. Therefore we recommend a cab or shuttle service to provide you transport for the 8 mile distance between the airport and the hotel.
